Born and raised in Poland, where the rulers controlled many aspects of life, limiting personal choices. To seek greater freedom, Kryssy managed to move to the United Kingdom,
Life took her on a journey across continents—from raising a family in the UK to an inspiring artistic chapter in Australia, where she studied under renowned artist David Chen, BAFA, and Colley Whisson an artist, author, teacher and judge.
Now back in the UK, Kryssy paint full-time in her Egham studio. Kryssy’s work is deeply personal, drawn from treasured memories and her own reference photographs. Influenced by the poetic vision of the French Impressionists, she blends bold brushstrokes, rich textures, and expressive movement to create visual stories—vivid yet tranquil landscapes and seascapes inspired by the shifting moods of nature, transforming reality while preserving its essence.
Although oils are her favourite medium, Kryssy also explores acrylic abstracts and mixed media, pushing creative boundaries and experimenting with new forms of expression amid the vibrant chaos of richly layered colour and texture.
For Kryssy, art is about emotion, connection, and leaving a meaningful imprint on the world. Kryssy walks this artistic path unbound by convention, unafraid of risk, always reaching for the unseen, the unspoken, the yet-to-be-discovered.
Kryssy invite you to explore her work and see what speaks to you.
